Chris Rushing: Resident Teaching Artist
Chris graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.A. in Theater and English in 2010. He moved to Atlanta later that year and became a member of the ninth Apprentice Company. After working as an Apprentice with the Tavern he worked as an Education Artist including the Residency at Therrell High School. He feels blessed to have the opportunity to come back and be a staff Teaching Artist this year. At the Tavern Chris has been in Romeo & Juliet, Timon of Athens, Two Noble Kinsmen and The Merchant of Venice. Around Atlanta he has worked at Georgia Shakespeare, Theater Gael, Fabrefaction, Give Us Brains!, and directed Art at the Academy Theater.
