Kirstin Calvert: Teaching Artist

Kirstin is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a BA in Theatre. She came to the Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern to join the 2011-2012 Apprentice Company. Since then she has taught numerous playshops and directed Atlanta Highschool students in Residency Programs. She is also entering her second season as the director of Junior Players, a young artist performance troupe at the Alliance Theatre. Kirstin has performed with the Shakespeare Tavern, Academy Theatre, Onstage Atlanta, Give Us Brains Sketch Comedy, and Out of Box Theatre in Marietta. Credits at the Shakespeare Tavern include Romeo and Juliet, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Tempest, and an educational touring production of Shakespeare’s Life and Works. She is honored to be teaching and influencing future performers.
