Matt Felten: Artistic Associate

Matt Felten graduated from Furman University with a BA in Theater Arts. He
has been on staff with the Atlanta Shakespeare Company as an Artistic
Associate since 2004 and was one of the first education artists. He has
directed several productions for the Summer Intensive for Teens including A
Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth and Twelfth Night. Matt is a text coach for
the ASC’s apprentice company and also teaches a clown class for the
apprentices and the summer programs. He has recently become the resident
lighting designer for the ASC having lit Macbeth, Twelfth Night, Christmas
Carol and several other productions. Some of Matt’s favorite roles with the
ASC include Hamlet, Puck, Romeo and Dr. Caius. Matt has also worked with GA
Shakespeare, Essential Theater, PushPush Theater and the Aurora Theater.
