Shakesploration Days (Playshop, Tour, Special Programming)
Please note that you must register for Shakesploration Days no later than the Sunday prior to the event date.
On select Thursdays each month, homeschool families and small school groups of fifteen students or fewer will be invited to the Shakespeare Tavern from 10:00 A.M.- Noon to participate in a Playshop in Performance on the upcoming matinee title (or our special Shakespeare Says! workshops for our 4-7 year old friends), participate in a Question & Answer session with our professional actors and teaching artists relating to the upcoming production and go on a guided backstage tour of our available theatre spaces.
Parents and teachers are more than welcome, though not required, to participate in the workshop with their students.
And new this season, our in-school touring productions - Shakespeare for Kids (Pre-school & Elementary) and Shakespeare: the Language that Shaped the World (Upper Elementary, Middle & High School) - will be available to the public on select mornings throughout the year!
