Behind the Scenes With Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead: An affordable fundraiser you can really get "behind"!
You're invited Behind the Scenes...Join us on Wednesday May 21 as we show you what it takes to put on a show at the Shakespeare Tavern. From auditioning (the good, the bad and the "What were they thinking?") to vocal warm up (did you know that the forehead makes a "kee!" sound and the hips make a "woo..." sound?) and everything in between, we'll give you a lighthearted and informative look into the magic and mayhem of theatre! We only do this once a year, because it takes that long to heal from all the laughter. (Does not include full performance. Running time shouldn't be more than 2 hours)
Tickets are $25. General Admission seating Seating starts at 6:15pm. Food and beverages available for purchase before the show. Get tickets!
7:30pm showtime
Silent auction before show and during intermission.
All proceeds go to our Education Department: They make the world safe through iambic pentameter.
We'll be announcing our 2008-09 season at the end of the evening!
