Thank you for considering the Atlanta Shakespeare Company (ASC) and the New American Shakespeare Tavern for a sponsorship! We hope to make this process as easy and rewarding for you as possible.
ASC welcomes the opportunity to partner with select businesses to promote their work while continuing ours. An ASC show sponsorship can provide your business with the opportunity to deliver your company's message to a highly desirable market segment (our audience exceeds 50,000 people annually) while supporting some of the most exciting, immediate, and accessible theater in the country.
ASC Season, Show, and Educational Sponsorships are available in amounts appropriate for all business sizes, so simply read below to find the level that's right for your business!
· $50,000 Season Title Sponsorship-
With your $50,000 Season Title Sponsorship, your company will be hailed as the exclusive sponsor for our entire season! Our seasons yield a minimum of 12 different plays a year, offering your business a new opportunity every month to receive prominent logo placement and high exposure through lobby displays, logo placement in our show programs, and special mentions in our nightly house speeches.
In addition, you will receive:
- Prominent placement on our website, in our playbill, and in our season brochure - patrons will see YOUR logo each time they check a show's date or go online for tickets! (Sponsorship must be secured by March 15th of the year prior to Season Sponsorship to ensure placement in brochure.)
- Prominent logo placement on each show card, sent to everyone on our mailing list prior to each show.
- Recognition as our Season Sponsor in press releases, public service announcements, and any other promotional advertising.
As our Season Sponsor, you will ALSO receive:
- The opportunity for your CEO or other select company member to say a few words to our audience about your company prior to each opening night performance (a minimum of 12 opportunities).
- 10 complimentary tickets to each opening night ASC performance for you and select members of your staff to enjoy. ASC show tickets make a great reward for exemplary employees, so share the wealth!
- "2 for 1" ticket offers for all employees of your company during the first two weeks of each show throughout the season.
- A free Shakespeare Tavern T-shirt and ball cap! Worn only by persons of taste, discretion, and judgment, these stylish raiments will make you the envy of your co-workers. Who knew you could achieve haute couture, great advertising, and philanthropy with a single gift?
· $25,000 Title Education Performance Series Sponsorship
With your $25,000 sponsorship, you will be recognized as the exclusive sponsor for our Education Performance Series, including all education shows and accompanying workshops!
As the Sponsor of our Education series, you will receive:
- Prominent placement and high exposure for your business for an entire year on all educational materials and education communications produced. (To ensure placement in all educational brochures, please secure your Sponsorship by March 15th of the year prior to Sponsorship year.)
- Recognition as our Education Sponsor in press releases, public service announcements, and any other promotional advertising pertaining specifically to ASC education.
- Logo placement or company recognition in all Study Guides produced for sponsored season, education performance series or education individual show.
- Prominent recognition in the "Education" section of our website.
- Your company will be credited from the stage in the house speech before each educational matinee.
As a Title Educational Performance Series Sponsor, you will ALSO receive:
- Prominent logo or company name placement printed on our Parent Pass. This pass enables the parents of the students your Sponsorship dollars have reached to attend an ASC evening performance with their child at the student rate, and to recognize YOU as the corporate force behind this exciting component of his or her child's education!
- 6 complimentary tickets for each show in our season! Since ASC matinee shows are the same shows presented by the same actors to our evening audiences, your Educational Series Sponsorship entitles you enjoy the same work your sponsorship has enabled those grateful students to experience! 6 complimentary tickets will be available to you and select employees (ASC show tickets make great workplace incentives and rewards!) during the first two weeks of each show throughout the season.
- Our special Superhero Education T-shirt, "Saving the World through Iambic Pentameter!"

· $10,000 Title Repertory or Musical Sponsorship*-
With your $10,000 Sponsorship, your company would be touted as the exclusive sponsor for our multi-show, two-month repertory project OR our yearly musical production! Your choice! And what a choice: with the Repertory, you get three plays running simultaneously - talk about "bang for your buck"! On the other hand, everybody loves a musical! Our musicals consistently play to sold-out houses, so your logo would be seen by thousands of people just during the course of that one show! So what are you waiting for? You can't lose!
As the Sponsor of an ASC Repertory or Musical, you will receive:
- Prominent placement on our website, in our playbill and in our season brochure - patrons will see YOUR logo each time they check a show's date or go online for tickets! (Sponsorship must be secured by March 15th of the year prior to Season Sponsorship to ensure placement in brochure.)
- Prominent logo placement on the show card for our Repertory or our Musical, sent to everyone on our mailing list prior to that show/rep.
- Recognition as our Repertory or Musical Sponsor in press releases, public service announcements, and any other promotional advertising pertaining specifically to the Rep. or the Musical.
- Special mention of your company's name in our nightly house speech during the run of your sponsored Musical or Repertory Series.
As a Repertory or Musical Sponsor, you will ALSO receive:
- 8 complimentary tickets to the Musical OR 2 complimentary tickets to EACH of the plays in the Repertory series, available during the first two weeks of the run. These tickets make fabulous gifts for employees who deserve recognition for their outstanding work! (Or keep 'em for yourself. We wouldn't blame you.)
- An official Shakespeare Tavern T-shirt and ball cap! Stylin'!
· $5,000 Individual Show Sponsorship*-
Smaller companies and businesses on a budget love this Sponsorship option! With your $5,000 Individual Show Sponsorship, you will be named the exclusive sponsor for the show of your choice (except the Musical - see above!).
As an Individual Show Sponsor, you will receive:
- Prominent placement on our website, in our playbill and in our season brochure next to that show's title- patrons will see YOUR logo each time they check that show's date or go online for tickets! (Sponsorship must be secured by March 15th of the year prior to Season Sponsorship to ensure placement in brochure.)
- Prominent logo placement on the show card for your sponsored show, sent to everyone on our mailing list prior to that show.
- Recognition as that show's exclusive Sponsor in press releases, public service announcements, and any other promotional advertising pertaining specifically to said show.
- Special mention of your company in our nightly house speech for the run of your sponsored show.
As an Individual Show Sponsor, you will ALSO receive:
- An opportunity for your CEO or other distinguished company member to say a few words to our audience during the house speech on opening night. This is a great opportunity to deliver your company's message directly to a select client demographic!
- 6 complimentary tickets to your sponsored show, available during the first two weeks of the run. Impress an important client or reward an outstanding employee by treating them to an evening of top-notch entertainment at the New American Shakespeare Tavern!

*Sponsorships for the current season and/or the upcoming season secured after May 15 may receive a reduced sponsor rate of $8,000 per repertory project/musical and $4,000 per individual and educational show as the sponsor will have missed the season brochure print deadline.

Be the exclusive sponsor for the educational show of your choice and receive prominent placement and high exposure for your business for said show including on all educational materials and education communications produced for said show.
As the Sponsor of and Individual Show in our Education series, you will receive:
- Logo placement or company recognition in Study Guides produced for your selected show. Parents frequently review these guides with their child, so rest assured that your company's sponsorship will be acknowledged by the people you want to reach.
- Prominent recognition in the "Education" section of our website.
- Your company will be credited from the stage in the house speech before each educational matinee of your sponsored show.
As an Educational Individual Show Sponsor, you will ALSO receive:
- Prominent logo or company name placement printed on our Parent Pass, handed to each student viewer of your sponsored show. This pass enables the parents of the students your Sponsorship dollars have reached to attend an ASC evening performance of your specific sponsored show with their child at the student rate, and to recognize YOU as the corporate force behind this exciting component of his or her child's education!
- 4 complimentary tickets for the evening performance of your sponsored educational show! Since ASC matinee shows are the same shows presented by the same actors to our evening audiences, your Educational Series Sponsorship entitles you enjoy the same work your sponsorship has enabled those grateful students to experience! 4 complimentary tickets will be available to you to enjoy the show yourself or to reward a hard-working employee for his or her efforts! (Available during the first two weeks of each show throughout the season.)

Educational Individual Show Sponsorship deadline is the May 15 preceding that show's date.
· $2,500 Education Parent Pass Sponsorship
An excellent choice for smaller businesses wanting to positively impact the community in which their employees live and work! You or your company can sponsor ASC's Education Parent Pass for one show.
The Parent-Pass is a unique way for students to share their experiences of the works of Shakespeare and the classics with their parents. The Parent Pass is a one-time use card that enables a parent to accompany their child to any show at the New American Shakespeare Tavern and both may attend at the student rate. The pass is handed out to each Georgia student who views an ASC matinee as part of their school's field trip to ASC. It's a great way for kids and parents to come together and connect through the arts and education. We believe that encouraging families to spend time together at a family-friendly venue like ASC will increase arts participation for students and will in turn create a better connection between the student and school work. We feel certain that you and your business will benefit greatly from the gratitude of the parents whose children have been positively impacted through your Sponsorship.
· $1,500 One Week Program Sponsorship
This unique opportunity allows you or your company to sponsor one week of ASC educational programming for students in a Georgia school.
With one ASC Education Artist to every 12 students, an ASC workshop is less a "lecture" and more an exciting, inclusive, hands-on experience for children. The "playshops", which fulfill several State of Georgia core curriculum requirements in Literature and Drama, begin with a warm-up to introduce the play's plot and the idea that words can move the spirit and the body. After dividing the students into smaller groups, the artist-educators lead them on an exploration of short scenes from the play. The goal of each playshop is for the students to connect with and understand the text of the plays, without passing judgment upon "correct" or "incorrect" interpretations.
ASC's artist-educators do not impose directorial decisions on the students. This is yet another key to ASC's success in arts education, and is directly related to our inclusive performance style. We are not "guest speakers" lecturing on what Shakespeare "meant", we are coaches encouraging students to use their own ability to learn and understand. Our playshops connect scholarship with fun activity and personal involvement, so that any kind of learner can succeed in understanding Shakespeare.
ASC's educational programs are designed to forge a personal connection between Shakespeare's work and all the students, without alienating any child by presenting material too "complicated" for slower students or too specific to one gender or ethnicity. To quote ASC Education Director, Laura Cole, "One particular teacher glowed with pride as she saw her 'slow' kids zoom through the story of A Midsummer Night's Dream and tackle the hard words and phrases with aplomb. They believed me when I said Shakespeare was about us, our lives, and was for all people. As they explored the plot by creating their own versions of scenes using text from the play and their own imaginations, the students discovered the 'Midsummer' world of young people and magic, and made it their own."

As a One-week Program Sponsor, you will receive:
- Logo placement or company recognition in Study Guides produced for the featured show (ASC Educational Programming explores the text of a specific show for classroom purposes). Parents frequently review these guides with their child, so rest assured that your company's sponsorship will be acknowledged by the people you want to reach.
- 4 complimentary tickets on the evening of your choice to any ASC show during the season of your One-week Sponsorship. The evening includes reserved seating for 4, complimentary dinner, drinks and desserts (served to you at your table!), an autographed cast picture and that warm fuzzy feeling that only comes from giving money to a worthy cause.
- Our special Superhero Education T-shirt, "Saving the World through Iambic Pentameter!" And you will be!
Please note that for a One-Week Educational Program Sponsorship, more than half of your total cost ($1,300) is tax deductible!
