Events at the Tavern: The Doubleclicks in Atlanta with Juliana Finch (May 21)

Tuesday May 21, 2019
7:30pm

The Doubleclicks are a folk-pop sibling duo, featuring clever lyrics about dinosaurs, literature, love and the Internet—with a cello, guitar, and meowing kitten keyboard. Their latest CD “Love Problems” debuted at number one on the Billboard comedy albums chart, and they’ve toured the world, at conventions, comedy festivals and more. Their songs and YouTube videos have been viewed over 4 million times and are frequently featured on BoingBoing, Kotaku, the Huffington Post, and on NPR shows “Live Wire” “All Things Acoustic” and “State of Wonder.”

A Georgia-born, North Carolina-based singer/songwriter with strong Americana roots, Juliana earns her spot in a long tradition of storytelling songwriters with a sultry, soothing voice and carefully crafted lyrics. Everything from digital-era breakups to Celtic shapeshifters finds its way into her songs, which span the breadth of human experience in search of connection. Above all, she believes that everyone has a story to tell.

Food and drink bars open at 6:15pm
Show starts at 7:30pm
